The Silicon Valley Reality Show, Brought to You by Randi Zuckerberg [VIDEO]

In the latest reality show with a tech spin, Bravo will follow young Silicon Valley entrepreneurs as they break into the world’s greatest startup hub.
Randi Zuckerberg — entrepreneur, former Facebook CMO and the sister of Mark Zuckerberg — is the co-producer of Silicon Valley, which is expected to hit TV screens this year. (The name of the reality TV show could still be changed).
Bravo took to Craigslist to find its reality TV show cast last year. The network said it was in pursuit of successful young professionals with a “wild side.”
A perfect cast, in other words, would have plenty of money and drama — and the same seems to be true ofSilicon Valley.
In the promo videoSilicon Valley stars are seen clinking drinks, riding in convertibles and go clubbing. Two scenes in 20 seconds trailer show the young entrepreneurs working from a computer.
“Silicon Valley is high school. But it’s only the smart kids, and everyone has a lot of money,” says one of the cast members in the trailer.
So who’s in the cast? The show will chronicle the adventures of Marcus Lovingood, founder of Futureleap, Ben Way, founder of The Rainmakers, Hermione Way of The Next Web and Newspepper, Dwight Crow, Carsabi.com founder, and Kim Taylor of Ampush Media, among others.

Geek reality TV isn’t for everyone — not everyone understands coding. Other networks have already ventured down the tech reality TV path. A comparable show, Bloomberg TechStars, aired in September 2011. The series tracked Silicon Valley entrepreneurs as they raised money, got coaching and developed their ideas — not quite as dramatic as Bravo’s offering.
